It's those things...

Well, here I am the other day thinking how I love this or I love that about my kids. Do I ever really share that though? In my own way, but for the most part the majority of the population rarely ever "gets" my humor. It's a "me" thing I guess.

Regardless, I noted one thing that I just love...that lead to an entire afternoon of making sure to note these things. It is that file box in my head that I like to stick back these moments, smells, expressions or sounds for later. They MUST not be forgotten. Let's hope that box keeps better than the rest of my memory.

Regardless...a list:

*I absolutely LOVE seeing little bare toes sticking out the leg of jeans. Fat little sausage toes.
*I love it when I catch Kade playing in the mirror or his reflection in the glass. I just watch quietly and try to hide my interest, he usually catches me though and when he does, I adore the look of embarrassment on his face. His "trying not to smile" smile. It is so sweet.
*I love it when I hear them singing all on their own. Their own rendition of the timeless kids songs. It literally puts a smile on my face from ear to ear, a smile in my soul too.
*I love when Cody, though it is nearing its end as he gets older, runs up to me, arms stretched up at me in that very high pitched, sort of sweet yet still demanding voice of his, "MOMMY! MOmmy! Mommy! MOMMY! MOMMY-MOMMY-MOMMY!!!!!" Meaning he wants me to hold him.
*I love it when Kade waves you up close to his face and he whispers some ludacris plan of his in your ear, thinking since it was presented as a secret that we will surely give in.
*I love that Kade's lips can pucker at least an inch out when you kiss him.
*I love it when Cody is being uncooperative and folds his arms over his chest and gives you his "mean" look. I'm sure soon enough I won't love it so much, but for the time being it's still very cute.
*I love how the highlight of life for them, is going outside to play. Nothing in this world seems to ever consume their thoughts more, than getting to go outside to play.
*I love how, no matter what they are doing, when they see their Daddy drive up in the evening, the world stops. They drop everything and RUN to the door and when he opens it they SCREAM his name as loud and screechy as they can like they have not seen him in months.
*I the feel of them nuzzling my neck when they are sleeping. How they trust you so much, they just sink into you b/c YOU are the most comforting thing they know.
*I loved it this morning when Kade, who did not eat hardly any dinner last night, comes into my room, crawls in my bed before the sun is even up, leans over and says, "Hey Mommy! GET UP! Let's go downstairs and eat some Brek-fiss. I'm HUNGRY!"
*I love how Kade can make 2 or 3 shapes out of the same object, regardless of what it is.
*Imagination. I don't there is anything better a kid can have.
*I love knowing, that my boys don't know what is really out in the world yet, that their world doesn't go out much further than our front gate, that they've not known an empty stomach (except this morning apparently) and they are healthy, they don't really know fear, and they are simply....little kids. Their laughter, their pure hearts, their innocent souls, they know nothing more than being a KID. Something I never got and to me...the best thing I could give them. If I screw them up in every other way imagineable, hey at least they got to be KIDS when they were supposed to be! ha
*I love that they can make friends with a fence post.
*I love how Kade introduces his family as his friends. He introduces us to everyone, "This is my friend Mommy and my friend Daddy and my other friend Cody." I'm sure the other kids thinks he's insane..but hey, he thinks we're COOL apparently. :)
*I love how when they are sleepy and rubbing their eyes with a big yawn, they still aren't "tired". Not until they pass out, falling over of sheer exhaustion.
*I love, not hearing kid noise for awhile, going in search of them...fear coursing through my veins, to find them in their room playing quietly with their toys. It is rare, but it does happen every once in awhile. Such a nice surprise.
*I love Cody's face lighting up, screaming with great volume -- VERY high pitched mind you -- that he "DID IT!!!!". Whatever he did, it is likely upside down, inside out, on the wrong foot, but that doesn't matter to him or us, he did it on his own and he's freaking proud of himself...so while trying to regain our hearing, we are very proud of him too.
*I love Kade's face, as it lights up slowly...it comes from his chin and works its way up to his forehead that light. He lights up slowly, surely...but SO brightly and then draws in a deep deep breath and exclaims with passion that "I DID IT! I did it Mom!!! Look at me!". Huge smile, taking up his whole face.

There's many more, but perhaps I'll save some for some other day.
I have two very amazing boys. They are so special, such gifts and Lord do I have to remind myself of that most days. They wear me out, wear me down and wear me thin, but they are so worth it. They are beautiful to look at and beautiful to be around. Even in the midst of the loudest tantrum, biggest fit or crying bout, I can appreciate (way way way in the back of my mind) that that is just WHO they are. I love their personalities. They are both so very passionate but show it in such very different ways. They are best of friends too and that right there means the WORLD to me. They seem lost without one another, they yell for eachother to come play, they try to sneak in each other's beds at night sometimes and they fight like hell over the same toy that no one wanted anything to do with 10 seconds ago. They already unite in a stand off with me over things, while I'm annoyed, I can't help but laugh a lot of the time too. The indignation is enough to make anyone give in.
Just the fact that they worked that hard, are SO damn certain and are fully ready to deal with the consequences of standing up for it, it's really really hard to ignore that. Perhaps for ME as a person, maybe its going to backfire on me as a parent, but I sure do appreciate that they stand up for themselves like that. Granted, a lot of the times...the consequences puts that fire out in their eyes pretty quick, and they no longer feel quite so strongly about it, but I can still smile where they don't see me and appreciate that about their personalities.
THe neatest thing? THEY REALLY LOVE THEIR MOMMY!!!!
Two Mama's boys and it's pretty darn cool. :) I also have to remind myself to take every bit I can get, because it won't be very long at all that I'm going to be all by myself. They will be busy out playing golf with Dad or hanging with their friends and just won't have time for me that often. I dread that day... remind me of that next time I'm bitching a lot about them. haha

**********Anyway, as I'm typing, I happened to notice the date.
Today is an important date. A date that I will ask for a lot of prayers and thoughts and well wishes etc... from everyone.
Today Emma has her scan to see what has happened with her tumor. She made it through her first and hopefully only round of radiation and has gotten a break from it all, less the therapies she is still attending, though not as often. She even got to go back and see her friends at dance class!
So, please pray that it is gone. Just gone. I ask that of you all my friends, family and any random stranger that may happen upon this. Pray that damn thing is GONE.
If you or anyone you know is in the Houston area, there is a benefit for Emma that I don't have the link to but will soon. It is coming up very soon and hey let everyone know about it! It would be wonderful to have it loaded full of people!*****************

Emma - you are such a vibrant and beautiful little girl, so strong and courageous and you don't even know it yet. You've dealt with some things that many grown ups couldn't handle over the past few months and are still showing that gorgeous smile! We are so proud of you, miss you, love you and hope to get to see you really soon!
Oh and Kade says... XOXOXOXOXO. haha

So, on that note. I'm working on putting together the boys playroom today. I have decided to go ahead and make it a playroom after all. I seriously have issues. I keep deciding that I will make it that, and have my reasons, but then forget those reasons and wonder if I shouldn't make it something else.
Ugh.
YES it is going to be a playroom. From what I hear we're going to have little daylight very soon, as it is already PITCH BLACK by 6 and is only getting worse, we need to have a few places for the boys to play and keep their brains entertained. Maybe some floodlights too, so they CAN go outside at night some too! haha
So, I've researched and decided what toys and learnign things to put in there, I hear tale of a couple of Christmas gifts that will be perfect to go in there. This will be our Christmas for them, filling up a playroom. We were going with the big yard thing, but I'd rather get the REALLY big one and why bother getting that in the winter when they'll just have to look at it from indoors so often? So we're doing their playroom for this Christmas and their summer just b/c we damn well feel like it gift is going to be absolutely AWESOME!

We also got our fencing materials on Monday. FINALLY. So Mike is off as of tomorrow and we'll be busy busy busy! We've got a very large yard, so LOTS of fence to get up. Well, I need the workout anyway. ;)

I'm wearing a Wylie Bulldogs Sweatshirt

WHAT?
WHY???
Why do I even OWN that? hahahaha

Well, see, the sorry flake I am. I actually BOUGHT it for my dear wonderful (amazing too) friend in GEORGIA. The beautiful and talented Mrs. Wylie. Who came to hang with me and shoot a wedding last year, nearly had a fit when she saw the Wylie garb at the store, seeing as how she's got a house FULL of Wylie's she wanted some.
So I came across a nice, toasty warm sweatshirt on sale and grabbed it for her. So I held on to it b/c I Had like 20 more to buy, okay. So like 6 more. Right? Geez, I can't even add! Anyway, one day...I was really cold and couldn't find anything warm. I mean...I was REALLY cold and there sat this super soft (don't you LOVE how brand new sweats are so soft?) toasty warm sweatshirt was sitting there. So...now I'm back up to needing that 20 more sweatshirts b/c I have hers on. I'm LAME. Such a LAME friend, but hey it was the THOUGHT that counted right???
Well, anyway I have absolutely no point what so ever. I was just re-reading something, making sure I wasn't TOO mean to my friends/family that have all but abandoned me b/c they can't lay eyes on my gorgeous face in person right now.
Nope. I was still good. ;) HOwever, my sweet sweet friend T. NO, not directed at you at ALL. You are forever excused! haha! You are so sweet to worry though, much less go to the trouble I've heard you went through. I love you you sweet short lil' thang you! haha! (Of COURSE I had to throw that in).
So, no...not you love. Not you in the least bit!

I really don't have much to really elaborate on. I'm not STILL in a crappy mood, but just in one yet again. Perhaps I'll elaborate later. Maybe.

Anyway, just kind of an update I suppose. I have been unable to find the photos I wanted to post. I mean I could find them...if the computer would function long enough FOR me to find them. So along with that... I've gotten a FEW of the pics done of the girls, but that's just as far as I'm going to get with them right now until I can get this fixed. At least in the time frame you guys need. Which...I was going to go ahead and share a couple of them here and brag on them, but alas. Guess what? IT WON'T LET ME!!!! Argh!
The frustration of it all! Anyway, Angie and Steph I'm going to try to shoot you a couple of them on email, they will be kinda big b/c I assume you need them fullsize for the thing...page whatever that is. So if you have not gotten an email with photos from me over the weekend, then holler at me to let me know you did not get it. So I can try another method.

So, no pics today. I don't even know that I'm going to take this to the hospital afterall. I think I may just take the STUPID HP instead. I think it can be salvaged, but this...I really have decided it is beyond repair. Its so bad and the issues make no sense, so...

Are you a family member waiting on Senior Photos?

Well, as it has come to my attention recently, there are two lovely blonde girls that need their senior photos sooner than expected (I thought they didn't NEED them until the spring). So, if you may have read at some other point me ranting endlessly about my computer woes, I have computer woes.
HOWEVER....have no fear, while it is, indeed, taking me 19 times longer to do b/c I have to restart every 15 minutes, wait for everything to load, close out unnecessary stuff and then say a little prayer hoping my editing programs will load...I am getting them converted and at the very least, lightly proofed.
Give me a few days...I'm working on it.

Now, if anyone else happens to read this, they're thinking, "Hey! Wait a minute! You did mine before theirs!". True, I did. I do generally ONLY do things in order b/c it really makes it harder on my ADD brain to do things out of order and then be able to go back and do older stuff. It is just the way it has to be though. I was trying to get my computer issues fixed before I did this stuff b/c it is really messing with my flow and the ability to do things fully as I want to. However, I'm frankly running out of freaking time anyway. Hopefully this lovely young lady can save my love here and I can be back on track in no time flat.
Cross your fingers.
ANyway, just a note out to my gorgeous neices....your photos are IN the works and I'm working well into the wee hours of the morning to get them done for you guys. Luckily...y'all are so darn perty I don't have to "work" on them at all. hehehe. Just appreciate my tiredness okay? haha

So, in waiting for it to run other stuff on the shots of the girls, I was able to convert some more of the boys too... so I'll add those for now. No, no sneak peeks of senior photos yet. I'm EVIL eh??? ha!

So I ask...what color do those eyeballs look to YOU? Hmmmm????

Just one that I just love b/c I just do.
Damn. That sucks huh? hahahahaha

A few more from the Bizaare Carnival:

Notice now, as these photos follow, that Kade is more than excited to wave to his parents, whereas Cody's face says, "Oh Lord...they are WAVING at us??!!?? How EMBARRASSING!". Go figure.

Kade is all about the "Air Porce" right now and saluting and uniforms etc... hehehee

OH hey, now I feel special, we got a LOOK of acknowledgement. *swoon* :

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

The Good:

*I have finally found a computer repair person! So soon, this darling will be off to the hospital and hopefully come home feeling good as new after having a little "work done". (We don't have to say facelift out loud).

*I found out that I can get an even better deal on a Mac when the time comes! Exciting! ha!

*I made Shannon's chicken Spaghetti tonight (wasn't as good...but it was kinda close! I did better the first time! haha).

*Mike is off tomorrow, without planning this at all mind you, it turns out that the kids have school. Meaning what? Meaning my husband and I will have an entire SIX HOURS TO OURSELVES! What on EARTH will we DO??? Get your minds out of the GUTTER folks! NO, we are NOT coming back to this house! There shall be NO computer, NO tv. We are going SOMEWHERE to do SOMETHING. I've got a few ideas, but we'll see. Let's hope the weather holds true to the useless forecast!

*I am definitely looking forward to a nice day with some alone time with my hubby. Let's hope that this wicked PMS (yes I do actually still get THAT unfortunately) will let me stay as unmoody as possible. I'm sure if he shoves chocolate my way every 10 minutes or so he can keep the bitchiness at bay for a few hours at least. I can see it now, walking around with a giant bag of reese's cups, tossing them at me with every glimpse of a sour look. ha!

*Kade has turned into such a GREAT helper! He INSISTS on helping with almost everything and he loves it. He does really darn good too! Last night helped make brownies that I inadvertanly burned. Tonight he loaded the dishwasher for me and then made a castle out of the soup cans while I was cooking. Oddly though, when I asked them both to pick up their puzzles peices before I tossed them in the trash he disappeared without a trace until CODY (who NEVER picks up anything) did it all. ha! I'm sure he disappeared so that Cody would grow and mature in that aspect, right? Sure.

*They love school! I have not elaborated on school much yet, but will.

*For anyone that worried or fretted that our boys were too young and would forget them. They talk about everyone back home WAY more than you can imagine! Seriously. I mean, they even surprise me with it sometimes. Seriously, how young was Cody when Shannon got rid of her black Vette? She sent one in the mail for Kade, but after the fist fight ended, Cody had it and it is his and he calls it "Winnie Cah" {translation - Granny's Car}. It's been awhile folks, and none of us called it that. Damn smart that one...

Kade brings up the most RANDOM people out of the blue! I, of course, DIED laughing when he came in with this huge hair clip (used for holding hair out of the way to cut it) and told me he was going to fix Uncle Jay's hair. I told him I'd give lots of money to see him fix Uncle Jay's hair with that. hahaha! (come on now, THAT is funny stuff).

Today there was one moment, that...just struck me. THere are those moments once in awhile. We love being here, we really do. SUre we miss home and we miss our peeps but...we love it here and we're doing really well, but there is still that moment, out of nowhere that just hits sometimes and today there was one of those. Which I will elaborate on soon, but I must have photos for visual effects before I can go on! haha

Anyway, the good is, they --- even as young as they are --- DO love you all very much. They DO miss you guys and think of you much more than you might ever imagine.

I have a hard time discerning the difference between "Twacy" and "Cwazy" they sound much the same...oh perhaps they mean the same thing. haha. Kinda does when you think about it. hahahaha. ( I think I should look into being a stand up somedays I swear).

The Bad:

*My PMS still remains a sad and scary time for anyone within earshot. I should write out notes of apology ahead of time. When the full moon comes out and the beast within tears free and begins rummaging through every single cabinet and drawer and freezer to find some freaking form of chocolate somewhere and finally settles on ALL that was available, being a tub of chocolate icing meant for someone's birthday cake. I can finally emerge again and find myself sitting in a corner on the floor shoving my hands in the tub and eating this stuff ferociously and chugging milk straight out of the jug. Its like a fugue or something, I was there minding my business and suddenly come to with crazy hair, ripped clothes and chocolate all over my face and hands.

*I have yet to find any subliminal tapes on changing your hormonal craving for chocolate to sardines or something. HOpefully I will soon. Thank goodness, should add this to the good list, that my weight has totally and very oddly sustained all the damage I could have done to it in the past few months. PHEW! I'm insanely STILL where I Was when I left, just....fluffier in the middle than I was which pisses me off. I try not to get pissed though b/c then that whole thing with the tub of chocolate starts all over again.

*I will be sending my desktop off to be worked on and there is the slim chance that it might not survive the surgery, so there is a possibility of me quite literally having absolutely NO computer at ALL until I can just buy another one.

*My laptop is still dead. Mike and I giving it a rub down and talking gently to it and even offering it money did not work in the least. So dead it stays. An ornament and reminder of failure sitting over there in the corner. STaring at me. Yeah whatever, HP SUCKS!

*I'm gonna write some DOWNRIGHT VILE things about a business in Abilene for being so TERRIBLY VILE when it came down to the closing of my account in regards to our MILITARY ORDERS. Watch out people, I've got a vendictive nature and a DAMN big mouth. Just ask anyone that's ever been around me, ESPECIALLY when it is PMS time. What unlucky bastard did not work things the way I wanted them when I was too hormonal to give a damn about being nice and courteous for them just doing their damn job? Stupid fool. Don't they have a warning signal that can catch that when the call comes in? LIke send my call to the guy that got caught lying about his long lunch hours and stealing rubber bands from the supply closet? THat's plenty enough punishment, he'd never do it again I promise. OH well.

*I miss Rosa's. I could REALLY go for a #14 with chicken and a couple of burritoes and a #39 and oh one of those dreamy dr. peppers with that heavenly ice they have.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

The Ugly:

*For starters, that would also be attributed to my PMS in some parts. THere's that little abbreviation yet again. Y'all tired of hearing about it yet? TOUGH! haha. I have an acne outbreak like I have not had in AGES! Ugh! WHat is worse, is that for some reason, not only do I have way worse acne than I've EVER had in my life (and I can be thankful that even now, its honestly NOTHING compared to a lot of folks) now it scars me. I need a damn laser. Seriously. Can I just have one for home? So now I have to make an appt. to see a dermatologist for the first time in my life. Yay.

*Next, we'll add in my hair! I MISS IDALIA!!!!!! *sob*sob*! My hair is sooooo YUCKY and dull and icky and flappy and the roots, oh Lord the roots. She'd disown me if she saw how bad they were. Alas, I am just going to have to do it myself and PRAY I don't end up with orange hair. I am sick over it b/c this was my FAVORITE color job out of all of them ever, and she's done some really neat ones on me! After what they did to Cody's hair (poor kid, I have the ugly hair kid now) there's no way on EARTH I'd let anyone on the base touch me and I just can't prioritize a hairdo out on the economy right now when we have SO MUCH other crap we need. Ugh. I think my last rant mentioned something about getting old sucking. Well being a damn grown up sucks too.

*Well, let's see....that's my skin and my hair. I guess my attitude is kind of ugly too right now. haha

*I have to admit, see if this gets any of you little turds out of the woodwork... that I'm kinda put off by some folks. Rather ironic how I"m not there to take photos for people anymore and suddenly I just don't exist any longer. Apparently, I dunno. Seems that way though. So, I feel kind of ugly about it, so it is on the ugly list. Deal with it! I'm still as easy to get a hold of you know. Most of my correspondence was via email anyway, hey guess what? It's the same damn it!!! Myspace, yep, two of them, still the SAME! Yahoo, hey guess what you can call via computer FREE. The only thing I Have yet to do, is get the Abilene number through VOiP and that is coming, there's just an issue with figuring how to bill it. The whole currency exchange business. So...anyway. Call me pathetic, whatever. Some of you people suck in my book right now. I'm only going to check in so many times ya know. I mean how sad is that? I'm not all about being pathetic you know, not my *thing*. Call, call, call or write, write, write. I'm not one to go all psycho just to get a "friend" to respond. Sorry, I leave that for the psycho girls that give the rest of us sane ones a bad name.
I mean, far be it from me to even expect anyone to call me for .07 measley cents a minute. Yeah, that's how cheap you can call just on a regular plan. I know the people that immediately went out and got International calling on their phones for us. I feel the love there, you know who you are and I FEEL THE LOVE. Thank You. :)
Showin up the other folks now aren't ya!?!?!?! hahahahahahahaha

*I desperately need a night OUT but don't see that happening anytime at all in the near future, or the distant future. You know how a gal just has to have a reason to get all dressed up really nice, maybe even nice enough to get a new outfit for it! Oh and new shoes too. Of course. Fancy hair and extra care on the make up and just feel DAMN good about looking NICE and having a freaking REASON to. Anymore I just feel goofy getting all dressed up to just dress up for the hell of it. I feel like everyone who sees me knows that I was just desperate to wear my heels that I had to dust off, so I over did it out of desperation, not b/c I actually had any other reason to dress that way. I know a lot of folks (Nicole -- haha) just dress that way all the damn time. For me, though, the queen of cargo pants/capris and jeans and faded rock tees and floppy sweaters, I'd just feel goofy wearing some hooker heel hoochie boots to the comissary to pick up 6 jugs of milk and a bag of cheetohs.

Seriously.

*I'm pastey, I need a tanning bed in my garage.

*I'm hairy, I need a wax machine stat! These brows have gotten spoiled too!

*I'm flubby, I need a gym next door!!!! (okay, around the corner where I can't see the SUPER dedicated people who'd make me feel even flubbier).

* Perhaps, BLAH is the best way to describe my current mood. Perhaps???? ha!

*We got an estimated cost of electricity today. Ugly is the ONLY way to describe that one. Wow.

Okay, so there you have it. My completely mindless, useless and pointless whatever you wanna call it of the day.

Hey! I"m impressed with me though, I got all the way up to 15 posts last month! That is with some of my time offline being in September too! Yay!

Well, if I do not pass out before I can accomplish it, I will try to find the photos I need and expand on something mentioned above. :)

At this time though, it might have to be tomorrow night. The boys crummy waking hours are catching up with me this evening. Last night too.... okay, just overall. Yikes! I'm so tired!

The word of the day is....OBNOXIOUS

My kids are being obnoxious. Actually. It is mainly one, the other one is actually being oddly well behaved today, but once in awhile following suit with his brother and adding to the obnoxious air in the house.
The most obnoxious thing they've done lately, is one that I really can't figure out, can't come up with a plan to cut this off. Don't WANT to deal with the one thing that HAS come to mind to maybe get them to stop.
They wake up so early. WHY???? I think they've had PLENTY of time to get adjusted. If it takes them this long to get over the jet-lag and overall time difference, we're never going to get to go home for a visit! Nah, it really only took them a couple of weeks and they were rocking along on a pretty normal pattern again. THey've just gone out of their minds.
My kids ALWAYS slept until 7 or 8 am. Which was a Godsend seeing as how I was usually up till 3 AM working. However, now I am not. Do I get to just get up earlier here and have those few moments of quiet in the morning? The ones I've always dreamt of? Where you get up and take a leisure shower, have a drink of dr. pepper, stroll around...breathe in the quiet...
I'd have a chance to do that here since I am not up all night AND I find it much easier to wake up at 6:30 am. I am NO morning person. I never have been, but I have discovered that getting up earlier in the morning and getting around does make for a better mood through out the day. Oh can I do that though? Can I even make that happen????

NO because MY KIDS ARE OUT TO GET ME!!!!!
Do they wake up at the crack of dawn? No. Do they wake up at the ass crack of dawn? (I'm assuming that is earlier than the crack of dawn since there is cursing involved). No.
They have been waking up at FOUR THIRTY to FIVE THIRTY IN THE FREAKING MORNING EVERY MORNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
4:30.
A.M.
Is NOT cool when that is what time your KIDS wake you up.
The only time 4:30 A.M. is cool, is when you are STILL awake partying like a fool BEFORE you have kids.
Why in the hell would THEY want to be up that early?
So I would assume it would just be an ideal time to start a later bedtime? No. Doesn't work. So okay...put them to bed EARLIER, sometimes kids actually need MORE sleep but wake up at insane hours. So that actually DID work with Cody for a couple of nights, he seems to have figured us out.
NOW they are going one further and only napping for an HOUR?
Drop the nap you say????? That's the place I am just not going. NO WAY.
I NEED it. I don't care if THEY need it, I do.

Do they have kiddie xanax or something? Isn't it okay in Europe to give your kids red wine or something????
(okay for the record I'm seriously freaking joking. I wouldn't even give my kids benadryl for the 11 hour flight to get here).
Well, he only napped for an hour. I hear the thunderous footsteps bounding from room to room upstairs, I should intervene before he wakes up the REALLY obnoxious one. Maybe they seem more obnoxious because *I* am so tired? Nah...I think the back talking smart mouthed BS pretty much pisses me off at anytime, well rested or not.
Two years old? Piece of cake. Three years old? Sometimes a smidge more trying, but not terrible. Four years old? That is coming in the next couple of months and I'm afraid...very very afraid. Smart Mouth and Oozing Attitude have moved in and shoved out Whiney, Screechy and Pouty.

So, who were the other two dwarfs?

Is it even more worrisome that so far, two has been a BETTER age for Cody than before this? LESS tantrums. Somehow, that actually worries me for the years to come. Oh well, at least HE is being fairly nice to me today. Maybe I'll give him chocolate and try to seal the deal, but if I do that, he'll get pissed that there was somehow an end to the supply and then throw a tantrum and be evil to me the rest of the day.
Oh the curses of motherhood.
Never was the phrase "damned if you do and damned if you don't" more true. Never. A mom came up with that, just so you know.

So I leave you with photos once again.
I can either have photoshop open and MAYBE sweet talk it into working for me so I can convert photos. Or I can have the internet open and MAYBE sweet talk it into actually loading a page. I have yet to figure out how to sweet talk it into doing everything I want. Man, I'm REALLY losing my touch.

Getting old SUCKS.

Who on earth would chunk a pillow at that poor little baby and knock him down?

Well, now he's just being over-dramatic here.

Yes, smile cute and innocent and fool everyone else. Okay, so he fools me half the time too. He's just so damn CUTE!

Cody's boudoir debut. Modeling his bat jammies from Granny.

Some people like to call my green chair ugly. They are NUTS! It is beautiful and I love it and so does everyone else, they just won't openly admit it.

DO you Google?

I have to say I never really cared about what search engine I had etc... but man I have become the biggest google... um. Well, I suppose there are times I should watch my language. I'm a google junkie. That's better than what was going to come out.
Do you even KNOW what all you can do with it? I'm just amazed. I think my favorite new thing is google reader. There are so many blogs I wanted to always keep up with, but I don't have the presence of mind to remember to check them. Well, I signed up for that and now on my homepage, everytime someone posts to the ones I watch, voila, there's an update for me! Oh and my gmail, nifty little window there for that too.
Google calendar, who on earth can live without that now? As busy as we all are these days. YOu can have your google calendar and sync it with your husband or business partner etc... so you always know what the other has coming up! Love that for sure.
I really love gmail too, I've used every free mail there is and gmail is most definitely my favorite.
The only thing google has done yet to make me VERY VERY unhappy was kill hello. That was just wrong and I'd love to find a way to plead with them to bring it back. That was a sad sad day for many many photographers and just general photo lovers alike.
Sad day.
Anyway, unfortunately I'm not getting anything for my google plug, but I'm always so shocked at people NOT knowing what all google has to offer...and its FREE and totally web accessible. (Meaning you can access it from any computer ANYWHERE).
Good stuff Maynard, damn good stuff.

Okay, off to pick up my kiddos from day 1 of school. Yes, that is why I had time to come and post about absolutely nothing at all. I could've done more and shared pics, but no time for that!

Oh and a note about the forecasting thing... in the past 20 minutes it has gone from WINDY and pretty cool but sunny, to cloudy and light rain, then HEAVY rain and then something I wasn't expecting, HAIL and hard hail but not very big at all...and now its back to sort of cloudy, sunny and windy.
Go figure.
haha

LATER!
Hopefully Cody didn't tear the building down....
